Group One Motorwerks in Tucson has officially gone green, as our auto mechanics take measures and precautions to reduce their impact on the environment. In fact, we are Tucson’s only ADEQ-Certified European auto repair shop. ADEQ, or Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, has taken notice of our efforts to go green and lower utility costs. How is the team at Group One Motorwerks going green? Here are a few steps we are taking minimize the carbon footprint we may leave in the beloved community of Tucson:
We are Tucson’s only solar powered independent German repair shop.
We recycle any would be waste including; metal parts, cardboard, plastic, paper.
Our new facility is lit up with high efficiency LED lighting.
Our new workshop is super insulated for both employee comfort & reduced energy consumption.
We have done away with solvent based cleaning products & now utilize an aqueous (water based) parts washing system.
We have eliminated or reduced the use of hazardous chemicals.
We utilize Energy Star-Certified appliances and computers.
